Job Description

Technical / Functional Skills

  • Minimum Experience 14+ years of playing the Service Delivery Manager role for managing Java Operations team.
  • Experience being on Operations Manager for Retail Clients for a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc)
  • Prior experience on Technologies used by Java, Spring framework, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Testing, Selenium, GCP components and tools 
  • Track record of continued success in Operations Management (L1, L2, L3), including Delivery management, Resource management,
  • Communication management, Analytical and Problem-solving etc.
  • Good Experience in handling Incident Management, Problem Management and Enhancements in Operations project.
  • Good skills and knowledge of leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful deliveries in Operation projects in Java technologies
  • Domain experience of Retail domains will be added Advantage
  • Previous experience as a collaborative leader
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills

  • Strongly serving and managing Operations Team and Customer in their quest to do everything possible to delight customers
  • Providing all support to the team using a leadership style and leading by example. 
  • Guiding and Coaching the Operations Team and organization on how to handle Incident and Problem management and enhancements and values to delight customers
  • Guiding and Coaching the team on how to get the most out of self-organization
  • Organization and guiding the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by taking right decisions.
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
  • Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
